Expanding the vision...
A newly established Vision team has been meeting regularly since Fall 2023 to envision the Centenary UMC through new eyes, and to implement improvement plans for any area of the church building, real property and programs that would benefit from a proposed change.
As we actively reach out to the local Erwin community, the committee has been implementing a new Community Garden; installing new playground equipment and seating; and recommending the tear down of the back fencing in order to encourage community members to access the garden and playground. Other improvements can be found within the church building with the use of welcoming scents and improved signage for visitors.
The committee is led by Pastor Linda Rozar and meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
