Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Red Bird Mission

February's 3rd Sunday Mission focus is the Red Bird Mission which is located in nearby Beverly, KY. Since 1921, it has been supported by churches throughout the US to help them meet their mission of "building healthy, economically sustainable communities in the
mountains of Southeast Kentucky."

Industrial Park

Erwin Disaster Relief Fund

This CUMC fund remains active in donations, with disbursements to the local community.

Centenary General Fund

The church's general fund is often thought of as the fund that keeps the doors open.
Inclement weather in January has adversely affected our tithes and offerings.
If you're lead and able to do so, please make a general fund offering to help with the church's expenses.
